Requirements

All dogs visiting Diggity Dog Resort for daycare or boarding must pass our required temperament test. It is a simple procedure and only takes about 15 minutes. Prior to any stay, you must bring your dog to our facility to allow our staff to get to know your dog. We will also observe how your dog behaves with the other guests. We will not allow overly aggressive dogs as guests at our facility. This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all our guests. You will also need to bring copies of your vaccination records. Your dog must be current on the following vaccinations:

• Rabies
• Distemper (DHLPP combo)
• Bordetella (every 6 months)

Spay/Neuter — All dogs older than 8 months are required to be spayed or neutered prior to staying at Diggity Dog Resort.

What is a temperament test?

The temperament test is way for us to determine if we can accept a dog at our resort. We want to keep our resort as safe as possible for all our dogs so we pre-screen all new guests. Our kennel technician will introduce your dog into the pack. We will observe how your dog reacts to the other dogs and how the other dogs react to your dog. If all goes well, your dog will be accepted at our resort. We have a 96% acceptance rate. You may drop in any day prior to leaving your dog at our resort. No appointment is necessary but we do ask that you try to come between the hours of 9:00am — 11:30am and 2:00pm — 5:00pm. If you are pressed for time, you can even drop your dog off for a couple of hours at no charge.
